AI (Artificial Intelligence) has made English skills more valuable. It has made the English Skills more valuable because right now AI does not have a broad understanding of what a human is trying to say, because it can't read our minds, therefore we need to explain every single detail for the AI to work properly. With that being said we need to learn more English skills so that we can effectively communicate with AI.
In the world of AI it is very important to have all these skills because it enables us to effectively communicate with the AI, in order to get the best and most accurate response it can provide. Shylock is a character from "The Merchant of Venice". In the Merchant of Venice the role of Shylock is to be the villain of the story, but i dont think that role fits him, because shylock is a person that does what ever he can to get money. So, to do that he lends money for a period of time for interest. While doing that he met Antonio who wants to borrow money from him. Antonio then starts to accuse him becaue he lends money for more interest. Also, part of why he accuses him is because Shylock is a Jew and Antonio himseld if christain.
In my opinion i dont think that Shylock is Evil. Shylock is just trying to do what ever he can to earn wealth for him and his family like he is suppose to do. it is the society that put him in that suitation of being bad person because, he is a Jew and he is being discriminated against. So, there is nothing that he can do to earn a living but to loan away money for interest. A groups that is marginalised in today society is the First Nations. I feel like they are being marginalised because I can say I seen someone talking about them out of school and I dont feel like they are giving pirority or have any importants despite them being the first people to stay on this land. In my opininon they started being marginalised after they got colonized and I feel like no one really thinks about them or give the First Nations credit for owning this land.
The dominant group in canada after it got colonized was the british/english people. After they came to Canada, they technically made the First Nation sign a deal that they did not agree on and after they did all that they pushed them to the side and gave little to no concern about how they survived. In today's world a text is basically used to communicate and information from one person to another without making any physical contact. Visual communication could be used in different ways such as photo essay and story telling. I prefer to use traditonal text because i am not too good and communicating visually.
There are a few advantages of visual communication. Some of the advantages are; Helping to understand complex topic easier, it easily grabs the attention of someone because it makes use of different colours, it is also bring clarity to oral communication. Some of the disadvantages are; it can cannot be used for detailed communication, Some information cannot be communicated visually, some of them are not easy to interpret, it may also be difficult to understand. Traditional text in my opinon is the more convient way to convey information. Some advantages of Traditional text is; it is way easier to pass a message along, The texts get straight to the point. While some of the disadvantages are; They are boring to read (they are not as attention drawing as visual communication), it also lackes connection. In my opinion Traditional text is the ideal way to pass a message along but visual communication is to make it more interactive and bring people out of their confortzone to tall about how they feel, rather than looking at text upon texts. The photojournalist is not right or wrong. He simply just did his job and then more. If you think about it the whole reason he was in that country in the first place, is to make money by taking a photo of something interesting. Then, he happen to run by a girl with a vulture close to her. he was not wrong to take the photo of the girl and the vulture. But, if that was his own child what would he have done? He would have probaly not taken any photo and just chased the bird away. Everyone makes mistakely and had their pirorities so I dont feel like it is my place to judge the photographer. If i was in his postion and desperately in need of money I would have done the same thing but as soon i see the vulture move too close to the child then I would chase it away.
I believe photographers have the responsiblity of capturing a responsibilty to capture a moment of time, which is naturally brought annd do not have the responsibility to alter it. I think that the photographer cannot make the moment in time to capture either. In my understanding it has to be natural, thereby making the image have a meaning behind it. The camera has the ability to capture a moment in time and i think that photographers should use it to capture things that are natural and would not have a chance to see again in the near future or they could capture a moment in time to spread awareness of what is happening in other countries. If I was passing by, and saw 3 guys vandalizing a car, I would probally ignore it depening on the situation. The first situation is; if i was going to work I would ignore it because I dont want to go to court and waste time of work, like the woman said in the video. Second situation; if I was jogging by or walking by and I saw them, then I would confront them and ask what they are doing vandalzing someone's car. I dont judge people based on race, I would do the same for both black and white men.
In the US, sterotyping on black people is somewhat normal, because you never see a white person drug dealing, holding guns or robbing. So, i was not suprise by the one call the police got when it was the white teenager and 10+ calls for the black teenagers. If that situation was to happen in Canada, I feel like it would be different, because I dont see alot of racism in Canada. I been to the US a couple of times and the way store owners look at me when i get in the store is different than the look I get when I go to the store here in Canada. They give a "what are you doing here" kind of look. It really makes you want to leave the store and not buy anything from it. At the same time I dont blame because the people in the US, especially in the hood, suffer from black gang volience. So, it makes sense they have sterotyping for black people. The effort of these leader apologizing are good but in my opinon they are not good enough because words without action are invalid. If the leaders keep apologizing but there is no change in the system then the word of the apology does not mean anything. For example; if I ripped and important piece of paper and then apologized and did the same thing again the next day what would people think of me? What I am trying to say is that the leaders saying Im Sorry is not good enough if there no change in the system, the way things are being done and how law efforcement treat other races then the apologies are useless.
My first point is the police are being told they are natural born killers. In my sense of thinking there is nothing as a natural born killer. No one was born to kill but you can be trained to kill and that is what police in the USA are doing. They are being taught how to kill. According to the video shown in class police get 8 hours of conflict de-escalation and 129 hours with weapon and fighting. This is not logical to how police should be trained and it explains all the police misconduct in the USA.
My second point is police immunity. I dont think the police should be immune to problems they cause. Immune as in not recieving the consequences of their action. Regardless of what I think. The police in the US are immune to what ever action they take in the public for example if a police officer feel threatened by me they could shoot me even thou I was only getting my hair brush. They should not be immune to the consequences of their actions. My third point is The police system. The US police system in my opinion is not set to favour the people that the police are suppose to protect. I think that it is set against them because the police system makes the police afraid of the people that the police are suppose to protect. An example of this is the police officer being told not to hesitate. If they feel threatened they can use their fire arm. I just dont think that this is the most effiencent way of teaching the US police officers. Explain what you feel defines Art &Creativity In my defination art is something that is created based one someone's idea of beauty, art is created with imaginative skills that expresses someone's idea or feeling. Creativity in my understanding is making something from scratch with nothing but a blank paper (nothing to start with), being imaginative and making orginal ideas
Example: I can make a drawing about a character from a story that I made, basically this charcter exists in my brain in other words it is imaginative, that is creativity (being imaginative and think out of the box) while arts can be a painting I made from my idea of beauty |
